Photos not of my own 

Even after 50 years it is impossible to have seen everything myself. Many photos and data on theese pages I have from friends who kindly gave me their permission to use them this way. I am very thankfull for this help, and even the smallest information is very much appreciated. 

Many Photos and technical information could also be found on the internet. But what can I do with a photo, that has no markings as to whom the photographer might be (and where to ask for permission to use), nor when and where it was recorded? Such photos has to come from "my collection". If a photographer do not bother putting a copyright notice on his photos, he will later have trouble legalizing his rights to the photo.  

Putting your name in big letters across the motive is overkill. It can be done more or less discrete, but first of all it can very easy be done digitally. With a little extra effort you may secure your rights ever after.

Etwas zu Fremdfotos 

Ich habe beileibe Alles selbst nicht abgelichtet. Um dieser Seiten zu vertreiben bin ich abhängig von viele freundliche Hobbykollegen, die auch fotografieren und Daten sammeln. Ich bin für jeden Hinweiss, jedes Foto sehr dankbar. 

Viele Fotos (und Daten) lassen sich auch am Internet finden. Meistens aber - leider - ohne jede Angabe zu Urheber, Aufnahmeort und -Datum. Manchmal gibt es eine Urheber-Kürzel die nicht mehr nachweisbar ist. Ich muss also dementsprechend dieser Fotos ggf. aus meinem Archiv kommen lassen. Wenn der Urheber sich die Mühe weigert seiner Fotos mit seiner Name zu vermerken, verliert er auch seine Rechte. Denn es wird sehr schwierig nachher seine Rechte zu behaupten, wenn die Fotos keine entsprechende Angaben beinhaltet.

Eine Name in grossen Buchstaben quer über das Foto ist zu viel des gutes. Es kann auch weniger sein, aber auch digital vermekt werden. Mit nur ein kleiner Mehrarbeit lassen sich die Urheberrechte für immer versichern.
